Just James (Jimmy Stewart)
From banging hard-house in the concrete jungles of Japan to playing
blissful chill house on the sandy shores of Great Keppel Island, for
the past several years, unknowingly, Jimmy has been around.
After teaching himself to DJ in a back alley bar of Tokyo and moving on to playing in some of the most renowned clubs in Japan DJ Sun-e’s (Jimmy’s) uplifting style soon gathered a healthy following.
The summer of 2002/2003 saw DJ James (Jimmy) playing on Great Keppel Island spinning house music pool side and playing his own unique mix of tunes in Salt nightclub. Here Jimmy played to mass crowds for the Midori week celebrations and the New Year change over holding the 500+ club at max capacity right through to closing times.
Jimmy’s appreciation for house and break-beats has grown immensely
over the past year and this new love is evident in his recent sets of
soulful, chunky beats mixed with his infamous uplifting melodies.
Just James is now based on the sunshine & gold coast of Australia
he’s plays regularly at clubs in Brisbane & all along the East
coast.
