Mark’s DJ diary has seen him become one of the most sought after London DJ’s Headlining such clubs as Renaissance @ The Cross, SP @ Turnmills, Underwater @ The End, Ministry of Sound, Fiction @ The Cross, DTPM @ Fabric, Formula & Formulate @ Tabernacle & The Key respectively, Pacha, The Egg and of course Kidology @ AKA, as well as travelling internationally as much as ever.
Earlier in 2005 Mark’s latest production outfit ‘Dab Hands’ were signed exclusively to Ten/ Virgin records, their fantastic instrumental 'Supergood’ was a Miami/ Ibiza anthem and came out soon after to critical acclaim, following on nicely from their ‘Lou Reed- Satellite of Love’ remix which smashed into the UK Top 10 the Summer of 2004.
Kidology was started by Mark Wilkinson in 2001 as a direct follow on from his successful Problem Kids Project (with Rocky from Xpress2), the Problem Kids did 2 albums (Pump the Dirty Groove & My First Acid House) and various singles with Paper Recordings from Manchester, along with many other releases with Junior Boys Own in the preceding years.
Kidology the label is basically the vehicle for Mark to release any type of record that he really likes, this can be a wide range of House music, the Kidology slogan is ‘The Right side of Tough to the Right Side of Soul” and this is very evident in the style of tunes already out on the label.
Mark continues his rise to the top and with a DJing and production diary that stretches well into next year, MW is available for DJ bookings worldwide.
