Will Burns
Will Burns Began his DJ career in 1998. During his school time he became very involved with live music & was in several rock bands. Brit pop & grunge were big at the time; Will was heavily in to bands such as Stone Roses, Oasis & Nirvana. After finishing work experience at Trinity studios in Surrey, Will bought a second hand DJ set up & Started djing regularly at friends parties.
One thing led to another and his reputation as a popular party DJ Grew playing a diverse selection of records from classic rock to 70’s funk to 80’s hip hop to 90’s House. Will was given the notorious party DJ name Will B Naughty.
Will Burns has always been extremely dedicated to his musical interests & this passion led him to study Music Production at college followed by University where he also studied Radio Production. From this education & knowledge Will found work at several recording studios & radio stations in London including the Sanctuary Music Group, BBC Radio & Ministry of sound Radio where he worked alongside some of the world’s best DJs.
After several years gaining experience & networking with the industry’s finest, Will set up Jam Entertainment in 2001, his own production company. His business was based around his on going promotions & music projects worldwide. From this point on his DJ schedule was in demand playing at clubs in London & the southeast of England almost every night. Residences included The Mayfair Club London, The Opera House Bournemouth as well as playing guest sets for Carwash & Ministry Of Sound.
Will Burns has been a DJ at some of the biggest clubs in the world such as Pacha, Fabric, Ministry of sound. He has played nights all over Europe as well as playing regularly in China Thailand Australia & America under his Dirty Retro name. Will currently has his own Dirty Retro club nights in Miami & London
Add to this Will has played at numerous Celebrity parties, Over 200 weddings, local pubs, stately homes, golf clubs, fashion shows, festivals, product launches, the list goes on…
