UK Surf
Formed in late summer 2005, southampton based four piece UK Surf play a brand of epic indie rock that, while reminiscent of the great guitar/synth bands of the 80s and 90s, is undoubtedly their own.
With a prominent rhythm section cutting through shimmering guitars, atmospheric keyboards and intense, brooding vocals, the band contrast catchy melodies with edgy, emotional lyrics, displaying a pop sensibility that allows them to appeal not only to the introspective, but also to people who just want to dance.
The last six months has seen the band refine their live sound, record their first demo and, having played gigs with the likes of the research, they are currently creating a buzz as the south coast’s most talked about band.
